Anya Volz was born in Vermont and now lives in New York City. Her comedy has been described as surprisingly funny and not even that preachy by men all across America. Anya began acting from a young age with community theatre, and continued to study the arts throughout her teens. Anya Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy was an actor. Taylor Joy graduated from school at 16 in pursuit of an acting career. Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, she is approximately half English and half Spanish. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother has Spanish as well as English ancestry. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four of them are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. The family relocated to Buenos Aires to Victoria, London when Taylor-Joy turned six. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School and studied ballet and performed in school's plays. When she was 16, she left the school in order to focus in acting full-time. Taylor-Joy always knew that her dream was to become an actor. This was achieved when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management provided Taylor-Joy with a modelling job.
